Race for Wilts Three Rink League Title Heating Up
Our recent performances in the Wilts Three Rink League have been really promising and three back to back wins have seen us move into contention as the league starts to heat up with a flurry of fixtures approaching. Our 10-0 win over Stratton Churchway last Sunday, followed by another 8-2 win last night against Blue Circle means we have picked up a total of 28 points from a possible 30, in our last three matches.

Amesbury win consolidates Four Rink League title challenge
Another strong performance in the Wilts Four Rink League, away against Amesbury B.C last week, maintains our unbeaten run and keeps the pressure on current Wilts league champions Chippenham Town. With four games to go we are nicely placed in second spot, ten points behind Chippenham Town, with a game in hand.

Gala Day Triples 2019
The annual Holt Triples Gala Day will be on Sunday 4th August. Total prize fund of £500 with £300 to the winners and a great day garanteed, so come along if you fancy your chances.

Progress in the Top Club
We have had another successful week, by progressing in the National Top Club competition against a strong Salisbury side, with wins also coming either side of the top club win in both the Wilts Four and Three rink leagues, with victories against Chippenham Park and Wilton respectively.

7th successive win see's us top the Wilts League
Our 7th successive Wilts league win takes us back to the top of the south section, following a dominating 14-0 (127-48 on shots) win over Devizes, on Wednesday evening. On a wet and dull evening we started the game quickly, taking early leads on all 4 rinks. From this position we never looked back as we took charge and recorded our biggest win of the season.

Two Fours win ends a mixed week for Holt
Sunday night's 59-25 shot win over Spencer Melksham in the National club two fours gave us a positve ending to what was a mixed week in terms of results for the club.
We started off by completing a strong 14-0 (98.5-55 on shots) win over Pewsey Vale in the Wilts four rink league, on Wednesday evening, to maintain our unbeaten run and make it 6 wins from 6.

Club Championship Singles 2019 Draw
The draw for the 2019 club championship singles will be made on Saturday afternoon (8th June), following the three rink league game against Amesbury. Recent finals have been dominated by current Champion Bed Gadd, who is aiming for his 8th consecutive final appearance.

Triples team back on track
The Mid-Wilts triples league side bounced back after their 14-0 loss last week against rivals Spencer Moultons, with a 12-2 win against Warminster at Holt on Thursday evening. Playing with one pair, the side managed a 26 shot win and collected the overall 12 points, winning on 3 of the 4 rinks.

Wilts Four Rink League side cruise to 76 shot win
Our Wilts four rink league side maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a strong 76 shot win against Trowbridge Westbourne, in the sunshine on Wednesday evening. The team picked up a maximum 14 points from the game and an impressive 76 shots which will give the side confidence going into the next game against Corsham, next week.

Week of wins for Holt
This week has seen us pick up 3 valuable wins in consecutive nights, starting with a 14-0 win over Box in the four rink league on Wednesday, followed by a 12-2 win in the mid-wilts triples league against Bradford-on-Avon on Thursday and then to finish the week off, we sealed an 8-2 win in the three rink league against North Wilts on Friday evening. Unfortunately both our games on Thursday and Friday were rain affected and only 15 ends could be played.
