Amesbury win consolidates Four Rink League title challenge

Another strong performance in the Wilts Four Rink League, away against Amesbury B.C last week, maintains our unbeaten run and keeps the pressure on current Wilts league champions Chippenham Town. With four games to go we are nicely placed in second spot, ten points behind Chippenham Town, with a game in hand.
Our performance against a strong Amesbury team consolidated our position in the top 4 and kept the pressure on the league leaders. We came in to the Amesbury game unbeaten in nine, however we knew that any sort of win against Amesbury would be a good result.
After a good start across all four rinks, the game started to tighten up with Amesbury coming within 10 shots at the half way stage, however the tide turned and we managed to push clear on our winning rinks to end up 20 shots clear, taking 10 points from a maximum 14, winning on two rinks.
Rink Scores
