Holt's Unbadged Singles Champion

Huge congratulations to Holt player and honorary secretary Chris Poole for winning the Wiltshire county unbadged singles championship this morning at Devizes Bowls Club. Chris won a close final, 21-19 against former Holt bowler Jordan Moore, now of Spencer Melksham B.C.
This is Chris's first singles title since making the move to us in Wiltshire from previous club Gerrards Cross (Bucks) and let's hope it's the first of many. Chris becomes only the third Holt player in history to win the Wiltshire unbadged singles, following Gareth Colebrooke in 2000 and Adrian Bolwell in 2013.
Chris booked his place in today's final after two wins last weekend with a 21-10 win over L. Griffin from Devizes in the quarter-final and then a 21-16 win over Westlecot’s K. Williamson in the semi-final at Chippenhen Town B.C
Well done to both players but what an achievement Chris!
